Description

The thallus is smooth or slightly uneven, whitish green to green-gray. It has the form of a thin, smooth, pale crust with pronounced, long, very narrow, curved, often forked apothecia, with a gray hymen and raised, black, rough edges. Spores colorless, with transverse septa only. Widespread and often common on smooth bark.
