Description
It can grow up to 2 m in height. The stem is green or purple. The white main root grows straight down. Lateral roots grow out of it. It has a bushy growth. The leaves are large, simple and ovate to lanceolate. They have an unpleasant odor. The flowers are in hanging clustered inflorescences of white or pink color. The fruits are dark purple or black. It thrives on all types of garden soils, but thrives best on loamy and clay, but well-drained soils. It needs full sun, it also thrives in partial shade. It tolerates very low winter temperatures. It does not tolerate salty ground.
