Description
Coniferous, which reaches up to 40 m in height. Older trees have an umbrella-shaped canopy. It has two needles, 4-7 cm long, hard and sharp. The flat side is mostly green and the arched side is dark green. The cones are 3-7 cm long. The bark is dark brown, cracked, reddish in the area of the branches. The trunk is often curved on its own, long in stands, it has no branches at the bottom. It is a light-loving species that grows in colder areas. Develops a deep root system.
