Recently, there have been numerous reports on the sightings of migrating cranes. Obviously, I could not have missed the sightings by Sandi Božič from Čeča vas. :) After receiving the message, I posted it on the location immediately. I stopped on the other bank near Srebrnice. We observed 139 cranes approaching from the north, landing near the Temenica and then proceeding westward. Above Straža, they turned and (interestingly) continued eastward, disappearing somewhere above Novo mesto.
It was around four in the afternoon, and there was almost no more light after a rainy and cloudy day.
After the turn, they quickly formed a wedge and continued on their way.
