Description
The spotted flycatcher is a small, predominantly forest songbird. Most often, we see it sitting upright on a fence or a dry branch, from where it springs to catch insects, and then sits down again on the prowl or in its vicinity. It is also characterised by twitching with its wings and tail. Its upperpart is grey and the underpart is white. It has drape and brown longitudinal lines along its chest.
