Description
The Eurasian golden oriole's singing enables us to notice its presence, since this bird is rarely seen because it spends most of its time hiding in tree trunks.
The male Eurasian golden oriole is of the bright yellow-and-black colour. The young specimens and females are greenish-yellow above and greenish-grey below. This extraordinary bird resides in humid leafy forests, parks, gardens and avenues.
It winters in East Africa and nests in Slovenia.
