Description

It has a rusty brown body with dark transverse spots on the back. It lives in forests and open places. It is widespread but difficult to find. It is a type of spider that lives on the ground and spins a very artfully shaped cocoon for eggs, reminiscent of an inverted wine glass or some kind of small lamp. When it finishes spinning, it mostly stays in close proximity and is well concealed.
