Bechstein's Bat is a forest species that lives and hunts in forests with a minimum area of 25 hectares. Usually they stay in the abandoned tree nests during the day.

Description

They are medium-sized species of bats, spread throughout Eurasia. Adults have quite long fur, which is pale to reddish brown on the dorsal surface and light grey on the ventral surface. The wings are short, relatively broad and light brown to grey in colour.
