Description
It is a common species on forest edges and in open dry places. The predator sits on the prey and waits for the insects to fly by. He grabs them by the thorny legs and then sucks them out at his resting place. She also tackles prey that is bigger than herself. The larva develops in the soil and feeds on other insects.
