Description

It is found in forests, on parishes, especially in wet places. The butterfly is active at dusk and at night. Because it rests in the undergrowth during the day, it can be quickly intimidated. Its yellow or greenish caterpillar is retained in the twisted leaf of a food plant connected by cobweb-like threads. They are most common on nettles, but also on mints, scabs and gooseberries.
