Description

The common grasshopper warbler nests in wet areas with thick vegetation or in a tussock of grass or herbs, but more often we encounter it in dry, grass-growing clearings in forests and in young growth in forest clearances. The common grasshopper warbler is a migratory bird which flies long distances and winters in Africa. It nests in Slovenia and is considered to be a very rare summer species.
